JAMB has extended the Direct Entry registration deadline to May 8, 2026, in Nigeria. This decision aims to alleviate pressure on candidates and improve access to tertiary education.
The extension allows more candidates to complete their applications without disruption. JAMB approved five additional registration centres located in Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos states.

The Federal Government continues to invest in JAMB’s digital infrastructure to enhance examination capacity and service delivery. JAMB’s zonal and state offices remain fully operational to support ongoing registration efforts.
