Strasbourg’s New Museum Trail at La Meinau
In a significant development for local football fans, Strasbourg has unveiled a new museum trail inside the south stand at La Meinau. The museum trail is designed to spotlight Racing’s greatest moments and celebrate shared memories across generations. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore behind the scenes, including access to the dressing rooms and the press box, which are typically off-limits to the public. Among the features of the living museum are exclusive videos, photographs, and temporary exhibitions that chronicle the club’s story since its establishment in 1906. A selection of emblematic items is also on display, including historic shirts, trophies, and archives that reflect the rich heritage of Racing.
The renovation of La Meinau has been significantly supported by BlueCo, which has contributed €23.5 million to the overall €180 million revamp. This financial backing highlights the commitment to not only preserving the club’s history but also investing in its future. The average age of the Strasbourg squad is currently 22, reflecting a strategic focus on recruiting under-23 players, which aligns with the broader vision of the club’s management.
