LEGO has officially announced a partnership with renowned soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Jr. to celebrate the upcoming 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, set to take place in Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
The collaboration includes the release of the LEGO World Cup Trophy, a meticulously crafted replica made of 2,842 pieces that stands 14.5 inches tall. This trophy is priced at $199.99 and is designed to honor the spirit of soccer culture.
In addition to the trophy, LEGO has created individual models for each of the featured soccer stars. The CR7 LEGO model can be built in two poses: the iconic ‘Siuuu’ celebration or a bicycle kick, consisting of 854 pieces. Meanwhile, the Messi model, which features 10 on his jersey, can be assembled in either a victory pose or a running pose, comprising 958 pieces.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to engage fans and celebrate the creative aspects of soccer culture. The LEGO World Cup Trophy commercial, which showcases these famous soccer players, was released to promote the new collection.
The 2026 World Cup will see an expanded format with 48 countries competing, including the United States, which is grouped with Paraguay, Australia, and Turkey.
The countdown to the 2026 World Cup has taken a creative turn with LEGO’s partnership with four of football’s biggest icons, aiming to capture the excitement and passion of the sport.
As fans eagerly await the tournament, the LEGO sets are expected to be a popular choice for both collectors and soccer enthusiasts alike.
