Kennedy Okwudili has been appointed as an Executive Director of Zenith Bank, effective May 1, 2026. With over 25 years of banking experience, Okwudili’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the bank’s Executive Management.
Okwudili graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting in 1998 from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. In addition to his academic qualifications, Okwudili is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since 2013 and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) as of 2024. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) since 2016.
Currently, Okwudili serves as the President of the Catholic Bankers Association of Nigeria (CBAN), showcasing his leadership within the banking community. His extensive background and credentials align with Zenith Bank’s tradition and succession strategy of grooming leaders from within.
