Liam Rosenior has announced his Chelsea lineup to compete against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Chelsea aims to secure a spot in the top five following Liverpool’s win against West Ham, while Manchester City has narrowed the lead on Arsenal to just two points ahead of the upcoming match on Sunday.
Rosenior’s team arrives at the Emirates after failing to secure a victory in their last eight league matches against the Gunners. Arsenal boasts a strong home record against Chelsea, having triumphed in all three league encounters in north London.
Last month, Mikel Arteta’s team secured bragging rights by eliminating Chelsea from the Carabao Cup, advancing to the final. Now, Rosenior aims to seek retribution as they look to undermine the hosts’ aspirations for the title.

Importantly, Chelsea will be missing Marc Cucurella and Estevao Willian, while Dario Essugo and Jamie Gittens continue to be sidelined for the match against Arsenal.
Considering Chelsea’s poor performance against Arsenal lately, Rosenior understands that a win on Sunday would make a strong statement, but he emphasizes that this isn’t his only goal.
"It would be quite a statement to defeat Arsenal," remarked the Chelsea manager. "My goal is to win every match. I don’t approach it that way; I simply aim to secure victory in each game."
